After a slightly alternative career route from school Jenni qualified as a solicitor in 2001. During her time at international law firm Eversheds, she gained experience of dealing with global corporate clients and defending high value claims. Later moving to regional firm, Burroughs Day, as an Associate Solicitor, she gained her experience of individual employee work and focused on Senior Executive disputes. It was here where Jenni worked on a significant and high-profile case involving discrimination in recruitment. This was a multi-party action and being a high-profile case attracted media attention. Jenni appeared on TV and in the newspapers as the case was reported nationally.

Following the arrival of her second child, Jenni moved to the niche employment law practice Menzies law in Bristol where she was a partner. The flexibility she enjoyed here, meant that Jenni was able to balance a successful legal career along with family life and bringing up her two children.

It was during her time at Menzies Law that Jenni expanded her skill set out of the legal arena and started on her Executive Coach journey. Jenni became a qualified Coach and Mentor and has since been keen to intertwine her coaching skills into the legal advice she provides and the relationships that she builds with her clients.

Jenni’s diligent and pragmatic approach ensures that she always strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients. She advises organisations of all sizes and enjoys advising on all areas of Employment Law but in particular supporting her clients on the day to day people management challenges that they face. In addition, Jenni’s areas of specialism are TUPE (transfer of business or business services), discrimination and senior exits (both representing the company or the executive – although not at the same time!).

Besides the law, Jenni has interests reaching from gig rowing to jewellery design (and has her own jewellery design business). Jenni is mum to two children and above everything else she just simply loves spending time with her family (and new clumberdoodle puppy Marvin). You’ll often find her (and her family) messing around on the water in and around her hometown of Falmouth.

Depending upon the project Jenni is happy to work on fixed fee or hourly basis and is always happy to take an initial, no obligation discovery call free of charge.
